In Defense of a Free People, the time has come to reassert our God-Given, Natural Rights and cast off tyranny…

Let the Facts Reveal: The federal government of the United States of America was instituted to secure the Individual Rights of our citizens and instead now threatens our Life, Liberty and Property through usurpations of the Constitution. Emboldened by our own lack of responsibility and due diligence in these matters, government has exceeded its’ mandate and abandoned those Founding Principles which have made our nation exceptional;

Our servant government has undertaken these unconstitutional actions in direct violation of their enumerated duties, 
to the detriment of the People’s liberty and the sovereignty of our Republic;

Over many years and spanning multiple political administrations, the People who have, in good conscience, attempted to deliberate our grievances and voice our dissent against these offensive actions through both Petition and Assembly, have been maligned and ignored with contempt;

The People of the several States of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming, justly alarmed at these arbitrary and unconstitutional actions, have met as Citizen-Delegates, and sat in a general Congress, in the city of St. Charles, Illinois;

Whereupon we, as these Citizen-Delegates, have gathered in defense of Divine Justice, Liberty and the principles of limited government, now stand in clear recognition of the Supreme Law of the Land – the Constitution for the United States of America;

Therefore, We demand that Government immediately re-establish Constitutional Rule of Law, lest the People be forced to do so themselves; and we hereby serve notice that in the Defense of Freedom and Liberty there shall be
 NO COMPROMISE to which we shall ever yield.

Today, while preparing to meet with some of America’s “Brave and Wealthy” who requested a face-to-face meeting, Bob Schulz was advised by the State Coordinator, “Be prepared to discuss potential return on investment (ROI).”

What is the “ROI” when it comes to financing a Continental Congress for America? Social and personal recognition? Personal economic benefits and rewards? Practical outcomes such as better governance or an enhanced economic environment?

We believe the funding of CC2009 runs along a much deeper vein.

In the end, it is the SPIRITUAL “IDEA” behind this historic event that is ultimately at stake: our Liberty, mankind’s Liberty, the evolution of Brotherhood, the Eternal Rights of each individual to be Free.

The dividends from this idea - its support, progress and protection - are priceless.

Any discussion of ROI in this matter therefore raises provocative philosophical and spiritual questions that are virtually unavoidable when considering the righteous stewardship of wealth.

We believe Continental Congress 2009 is a profound solution for the cancer that is consuming America. Liberty is Her SOUL.

An “investment” in CC2009 is nothing less than a joint-venture to manifest the intent of The Creator, who acted through our Founding Fathers, to bring us the greatest governing documents ever given to mankind.

Wealth indeed poses unique burdens and opportunities, both in life and for the Soul.

With this in mind, here is where we landed with regard to ROI:

Spiritual ROI:

Is it possible The Creator, in His Grand Design, has shared His Earthly bounty with some to such an extent, that those who are so given might fulfill a Higher Purpose, using such Abundance to secure a greater good - for all?

What is the ultimate moral, utilitarian and spiritual purpose of wealth if not to manifest and propagate the unalienable Gifts of The Creator? What other just purpose can earthly wealth serve? What other just purpose can life itself righteously serve?

In the ultimate reality of the life-path of the Soul, are opportunities such as a Continental Congress actually “tests” where those who can discern a Higher Order have an opportunity while in human form, to consider an invitation from the Divine to assist and bring forth a significant aspect of Heaven to the children of The Creator?

Is this invitation to restore the Light of Liberty through Continental Congress 2009 essentially the same invitation discerned and embraced by our Founders some two centuries ago?

Might there be spiritual reward for the bold Souls that seek and dare to advance the Design of Providence and resist the illusions of temporary earthly “achievements?”

Is there a spiritual consequence for those few humans, so blessed in Abundance by the measures of earthly “wealth,” should they ignore an opportunity to help bring forth the Light of Liberty?

Is the just and judicious stewardship of wealth itself a spiritual test? Is such stewardship both an earthly Blessing and a spiritual challenge?

Given that our Founding documents boldly declare the profound fundamental Principle that Life experienced within the framework and grace of “Liberty” is the intended state of existence for all of the Creator’s children, can its practical loss or value even be measured?

Is there any “price” too high to secure that which is Divine?

Can one idea change the world?

Can one man change the world?

Am I one of those men?

WHAT IS THE AUTHORITY OF THE PEOPLE?

Recently, it was said by one of America’s freedom movement commentators in reference to Continental Congress 2009, “I’m sorry, but I don’t support this latest talk fest. The so called ‘delegates’ have NO authority to do anything.”

The blog columnist baldly suggests the people have no authority to enforce their Creator-endowed, Constitution-guaranteed Rights, no authority to instruct the Congress to end violations of our Constitution or other forms of oppression, and possess no authority to take actions against the government even if that government refuses to respond to the People’s First Amendment Petitions to Remedy violations of the Constitution, or to otherwise be held accountable to the Constitution.

We ask YOU. What do these words mean then, upon which these United States of America were established:

“That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it .” Declaration of Independence.

“We the People .do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” Preamble, Constitution of the United States of America

“The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the People.” Ninth Amendment, Constitution of the United States of America.

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the People.” Tenth Amendment, Constitution of the United States of America.

“If money is wanted by Rulers who have in any manner oppressed the People, they may retain it until their grievances are redressed, and thus peaceably procure relief, without trusting to despised petitions or disturbing the public tranquility.” Continental Congress, 1774.

“The privilege of giving or withholding our monies is an important barrier against the undue exertion of prerogative which if left altogether without control may be exercised to our great oppression; and all history shows how efficacious its intercession for redress of grievances and reestablishment of Rights, and how improvident would be the surrender of so powerful a mediator.” Thomas Jefferson to Lord North, 1775

“In every stage of these Oppressions we have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose Character is thus marked by every act which would define a Tyrant is unfit to be the ruler of a free People.” Declaration of Independence, 1776.

“[Art.] 10. [Right of Revolution.] Government being instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security, of the whole community, and not for the private interest or emolument of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, whenever the ends of government are perverted, and public liberty manifestly endangered, and all other means of redress are ineffectual, the people may, and of right ought to reform the old, or establish a new government. The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.” New Hampshire Constitution, June 2, 1784

“(61) SINCE WE HAVE GRANTED ALL THESE THINGS for God, for the better ordering of our kingdom, and to allay the discord that has arisen between us and our barons, and since we desire that they shall be enjoyed in their entirety, with lasting strength, forever, we give and grant to the barons the following security:

“The barons shall elect twenty-five of their number to keep, and cause to be observed with all their might, the peace and liberties granted and confirmed to them by this charter.

“If we, our chief justice, our officials, or any of our servants offend in any respect against any man, or transgress any of the articles of the peace or of this security, and the offence is made known to four of the said twenty-five barons, they shall come to us - or in our absence from the kingdom to the chief justice - to declare it and claim immediate redress. Talk Fest?

Make no mistake: Continental Congress 2009 will be no “talk-fest.”

The Delegates of Continental Congress 2009 will be poised to begin the practical expression and exercise of the Right of Popular Sovereignty to save our Republic.

It is likely that we will see innovative and stirring expressions of this Fundamental Right:

INSTRUCTIONS to Congress to end and reverse specific violations of our Constitution’s money, war, tax, privacy, property, natural born citizen, faithfully execute, general welfare and other clauses.

INSTRUCTIONS to the State Legislatures to adopt specific legislation to bring the States into compliance with the Constitution of the United States of America, and to otherwise support the People’s challenge to the central government;

A COURSE OF ACTION for the FREE People to take to directly enforce their Rights, Freedoms and Liberties.

THE TIME IS NOW

This very weekend, we enter into a critical defining moment which will determine our ability to take the next steps. For us to meet our contractual deadlines and convene CC2009 on November 8, we need to make a third down payment this week of $80,000 to Pheasant Run to cover delegate rooms and meals; confirm hire of a suitable vendor to live web stream the event, now estimated at a minimum of $230,000; confirm hire of a parliamentarian for $11,000 and other related services. There is also the matter of outreach through paid publicity so Americans know what is taking place and their part in it.

We have asked provocative philosophical and spiritual questions pertaining to the righteous stewardship of wealth as it relates to the Cause of Liberty.

Money is needed NOW for us to move forward.

You, The People, will determine the way we go.

Thirty-three years ago, America celebrated the 200th anniversary of its Independence, and what a 4th of July that was! You would probably have to be near 40 years old to have any memory of it, but America, our liberty, and our independence were on full display as the day drew near.

Militias, The Continental Army, Redcoats, and Hessians rein-acted battles in full period dress with black powder, flintlocks, and muskets. Parades featured fife and drum corps in Continental Army blue. The fireworks from coast-to-coast were spectacular, and televised for all to see. And, beginning in 1972, the United States Postal Service (USPS) issued a number of Bicentennial Era commemorative postage stamps that went into 1977.

The ‘Pamphleteer’ was the first stamp from the Rise Of The Spirit Of Independence series of 1973 featuring communication in colonial times.

That stamp is shown here because the colonial pamphleteer was the precursor of today’s patriotic weblogs and other patriotic sites.

We who publish patriotic material electronically may not be Tom Paine, but we are proving to be a real pain-in-the-ass where it counts when this outlaw government threatens our free speech with dishonest hate crimes legislation, hacks into our websites or uses DNS attacks against them, and openly considers ways of shutting down the Internet as we know it – under false pretenses that everyone is learning to see right through – in order to exercise censorship and have a complete monopoly on information and thereby be better able to control thought in this, their reign of terror.

As the Spirit Of Independence reawakens in the face of the corporate global tyranny to which the federal government has sold us out (as one example, something like 23 trillion dollars was stolen from the American people and much of it handed over to international banksters by way of the Federal Reserve crime syndicate within a period of just 9 months, FOR WHAT?), weblogs, such as this one, are the new pamphleteers in the cause of liberty.

Use them!

Pass along links to this and other sites, reprint articles and information about the real issues and the truth that is being kept from the people and distribute it, duplicate videos such as those available from infowars.com, etc.

Everyone you know should be awakened to the reality that their freedom, their children’s future, and their very lives are at stake and that they must, in no uncertain terms, let the federal government know that it must abide by the Constitution, and that the states which created the federal government that SERVES AT THE PLEASURE OF THE STATES AND THE PEOPLE should start preparing to protect themselves and their citizens from growing federal tyranny, NOW.

Americans were far too trusting in believing that their government was looking out for them and had their best interests at heart. But they are waking up and need not look very far to know that that isn’t true.

The government controls the media and together they have been putting out lies and propaganda to hide the the truth about Obama; the truth about the health care bill; the truth about the global warming hoax; the truth about the swine flu hoax; the truth about its cold blooded murder of thousands, including heroic police and firefighters, on 9/11; the truth about taxes and how ordinary Americans are not liable for the income tax; the truth about what it does with our money, that is, pays it directly to banksters; the truth about UFO’s; the truth about its wars and why Americans and others are really getting killed while our money is wasted; the truth about both Kennedy assassinations, John and Bobby, and possibly John Jr. – I guess you have to be in a ‘position of power’ to believe in magic bullet theories, the Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus; the truth about the VERY LIMITED power of the federal government under the Constitution; the truth about our Bill Of Rights and that our rights are Creator-endowed and unalienable no matter what the courts say; the truth about whom the federal government and the politicians really serve (hint, it’s definitely not the people), and plenty more.

A government that makes peaceful revolution impossible makes a violent Revolution inevitable.

You can hear it everywhere. Patriotic Americans, fed up with an outlaw government that is not serving them but serving outside powers, are giving notice that the Constitution and our rights and freedom do matter and that the tyrants had better watch where they step.

These new heroes are speaking out at tea parties and through organizations such as We The People Foundation, Oath Keepers, Campaign For Liberty, We Are Change, 911 Truth, and others.

States and citizens are claiming their rights under the 10th Amendment, and some states are placing the manufacture and sale of firearms for use within their states outside of federal control.

They are calling their congressman, writing, faxing, and emailing their congressmen, and personally confronting their congressman about issues that range from the Bilderbergs, to the 911 cover-up, to Obama’s Constitutional ineligibility to be President and Commander In Chief, while the so-called representatives of the people, with few exceptions, fail to listen though the rattle can clearly be heard.

Our Nation, and the Constitution that gave it life, has many enemies both here and abroad. They are being warned to watch where they tread. You can hear the rattle over the airwaves, over the Internet, and at public events. Those who took an oath to protect, defend, and bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution need to be especially careful, because not to live up to their oaths is treason.

Remember, the federal government is NOT the Nation. The Nation is the states and the people bound together by the Constitution. The federal government is an agent of the states and the people with only specific, limited powers to facilitate their union as stated in the Constitution. The federal government has broken its agency contract between it, the people, and the states. In effect the federal government has nullified that contract. It says it is not restricted to the limited powers the Constitution gave it which means the states and the people are no longer bound by any contract with the federal government, as well.

Hearing the rattle, the most prudent thing the federal government could do would be to return to Constitutional rule. Their folly, however, persists.

Those behind the scenes in this growing drama identify with the serpent. It’s one of their symbols. Their serpent, however, is not our rattlesnake. Their serpent is little more than a cunning coward who works in secret and hides in the darkness; an instigator, much like themselves. And that serpent and its minions are being watched by a growing group of concerned and freedom-loving Americans who are in their own ways giving that centuries-old notice of the American Revolution: DON’T TREAD ON US!
